As an effort to keep this thing going, here comes this entry.

Life's been the same at TCC department, with no trainees and all, but certainly not as interesting when they are around. With the big 4 looming down and the 3 little kids running around, its tough to find peace. Haha.

With regards to Mr handsome's tag (whoever on Earth is so @%&$^#! to call himself that), its common in the army that we sometimes have to do things that go against our own principles. Well, it has happened to the 3 of us as well. However, I got one little thing to tell you. Make your reprimands precise and straight to the point, and make sure that there is a purpose behind it. If you abuse your authority and scold people anyhow without control, you tend to lose your respect easily. All of us were under certain people's command before. Treat people how you want them to treat you, it goes to same way in punishments.

Personally, I have never been put in charge of a platoon of men, but I have seen some of my coursemates handle them before. (41SAR etc) I think its never easy to control and gain respect of men in units. What I feel is that, no matter what you do, don't do things that will betray your own moral values and own principles, and in the end, you should be fine. Haha. So if you guys can strike a balance between being too friendly or going down harshly towards them yet getting them to work, I think you guys are somewhere there.

Its going to be my turn soon in NS.

Hey, what's that supposed TCC outing man?
